1965 - A Back To The Garden Story Concert ™

"Back To The Garden" brings all of the joy, the excitement and the harmonies of the year 1965! This was a milestone year in music, with the influence of the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, the Byrds, Motown, Simon & Garfunkel, Roger Miller, the Beach Boys, and many more. "Back to the Garden" will play acoustic versions of the songs of this era with stories weaved in by master storyteller, Robert John Hughes, of KPRI. These veteran musicians have backed artists as diverse as Chuck Berry, Kenny Loggins, Juice Newton, Johnny Cash, BJ Thomas, Billy Ray Cyrus, Waylon Jennings, the Everly Brothers, Chaka Khan, and more.

HIGHLAND WAY
THE BEST OF SCOTLAND AND IRELAND

Returning to the Ramona Concert Association, to kick-off the March St. Patrick's Day celebrations, Highland Way offers a lively show filled with Scottish and Irish songs and rapid-fire fiddling. The charismatic Brian Caldwell from Glasgow, leads Highland Way in songs of work and play, conflict, love, and the gathering of friends.The Highland Way band features some of Ramona's favorite musicians; Brian Caldwell, Paul Graham Castellanos, Sharon Whyte, Jim Soldi, Glen Fisher, and Bob Sale all bring their best to this high-spirited concert.  NORTH COUNTY WIND ENSEMBLE

The North County Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Vince Hernandez since 2002, will be performing a fun collection of music including marches, ballads, jazz, movie themes, show tunes and popular music. Our volunteer ensemble performs concerts all year and throughout the San Diego area. They also support local school music programs by providing a mentorship program for a select group of students. SAN DIEGO CONCERT BAND

Under the direction of Roy Anthony, Jr., the San Diego Concert Band performs a wide range of music; from symphonic band pieces, marches and show tunes. This performance will feature “Music from Broadway Shows.”The Band is composed of nearly 100 local musicians from all walks of life; active and retired music teachers, doctors, nurses, pilots, and college students. We are proud to also have several musicians from the Navy and Marine Corp Bands that are stationed in San Diego. The band was founded in 1989 and is celebrating its 30th year of entertaining San Diego residents.
