The Riders’ show features fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin, bass, drums and harmonicas! They are as refreshing today as when they rode the “Hollywood” range with Roy Rogers, Dale Evans and Monte Hale on the silver screen in the 1940’s.They blend elements of the classic sound of Roy Rogers and the Sons of the Pioneers with bluegrass, Cajun, and Bob Wills-style western swing into their own unique musical vision.

SAN FRANCISCO-MUNICH TRIO
CELLO-BASSOON-PIANO

Cellist Rebecca Rust with her husband,bassoonist Friedrich Edelmann, are here to perform for us from their home in Munich Germany. The couple tours internationally with pianist Vera Breheda. Rebecca Rust has performed several times at the Imperial Palace in Japan for the Emperor and Empress. She plays a cello from 1791 once owned and played by Prince Charles.
Friedrich played for 27 years as principal bassoonist with the Munich Philharmonic. Pianist Vera Breheda, made her debut with San Francisco Symphony at the age of 14 and later performed at Carnegie Hall in New York. Between the 3 of them, they have recorded 20 classical CD’s and have perfomed in almost every country on the globe. |
ANNA MARIA MENDIETA – CONCERT HARPIST AND FLAMENCO DANCER SUZANNE MENDIETA

Harpist Anna Maria Mendieta enjoys a busy career as soloist, orchestral musician,recording artist and teacher.She is principal harpist with the Sacramento Philharmonic and is on the faculty of Notre Dame de Namur Univ. in Ca. She began studying the harp at age 7 and attended the S.F. conservatory of Music. Anna Maria has appeared on TV, movies, NPR, and the Emmy Awards. She has performed with Frank Sinatra Jr. Josh Groban and Barry Manilow and for world leaders such as the King and Queen of Spain, and Presidents of Russia and the U.S.
Suzanne Mendieta is a classical trained dancer in ballet and Flamenco. She is a member of many ballet and Opera companies, performs internationally and has appeared on TV and movies. |

JAMES D’LEON – CONCERT PIANIST
March 2nd 2013, Saturday, 7:30 pm
Born in South Korea, James D’Leon began playing the piano at age 4 and performed his first recital at age 5. By the age of 14, D’Leon debuted with the Philadelphia orchestra. Winning countless national and international piano competitions, lead to his New York debut recital at Carnegie Hall. In 2009 he was selected to become an official Steinway Artist. His performances have taken him to England, Ireland, Italy Germany Canada and 40 states in the U.S.

RAMONA HIGH SCHOOL SYMPHONIC BAND LEAD BY DANIEL JAMES
March 9th 2013, Saturday, 7:30 pm
Ramona High School Symphonic Band participates in festivals hosted by the SCSBOA all around Southern California. In 2011, they brought home a "Unanimous Superior" rating at all three festivals. The director of the band is Daniel S. James, who has been directing the band since 2003. |
